The Yücelen Education, Culture, and Health Foundation, in collaboration with the Anemurium Excavation Directorate, has signed a cooperation protocol to support the scientific excavation and restoration efforts at the Anemurium Ancient City. This project is conducted under the supervision of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and led by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tekocak on behalf of Selçuk University. The Mersin Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism is also involved as an approving party.

The initiative focuses on the excavation of cultural artifacts, their preservation, inventory creation, and restoration. Yücelen Foundation will provide material and logistical support for various stages of the excavation, including but not limited to:

• Preparation and implementation of survey, restoration, restitution, and landscaping projects,
• Provision of meals, equipment, tools, and staff (such as guards and workers determined by the excavation directorate),
• Support for scientific publications, databases, symposiums, conferences, and workshops related to the excavation,
• Preparation and execution of restoration projects, and securing funding from both domestic and international sources.

This ongoing sponsorship demonstrates Yücelen Foundation's commitment to preserving and promoting Türkiye's rich cultural heritage.
